Not exactly as described

Arrived on time. The book was intact and seem to be in fairly good condition on the outside. However, it was highly marked in and highlighted within the pages. It did not have the accompanying CD, which I expected with a used book. According to the descriptions, this should have been listed as a “good book” rather than a “very good” book because of the excessive markings within. I am using this for study, but I prefer not to have previous markings in the books and would not have purchased it if I would’ve known that.

I needed this book for art class in college and I couldn't find it anywhere else for this cheap! i got it for about 6$ and honestly it came almost looking new! with a new CD inside.

if you're an art lover...

...this is the book for you. lots of text, lots of explanations, does a great job of telling the whole story of what was going on in the world politically, socially, etc, so that one can view the artwork of the period in proper context. beautiful images. Highly recommend, I have learned more from this art book (along with its twin-Volume 1) than any other on my bookshelf.I have quite a collection, but Gardner's volumes are always the ones I turn to.
