Jonty Hurwitz (born 1969 in Johannesburg) is an artist, engineer and entrepreneur whose work focuses on the aesthetics of art in the context of human perception. He creates scientifically inspired artworks and is recognised for his anamorphic sculptures as well as using nanotechnology in his artworks. Hurwitz's pioneering concepts in sculpture are today recognised both in the scientific and art worlds as new genres and are studied widely in academic curriculums.
