I've been doing art for around 13 years so far and I've come to realize all the life skills art teaches that we often skip over. Art matters for everyone whether you think you need it or not. Art is what separates the most creative, unique, innovative, and productive people in the world from the average. I've always liked to say, "No house is home without art". There is something about art that makes us human, and in a world where technology is automating a lot of things, art is becoming more and more valuable. Why does art matter though? After thinking about all the life skills art has taught me, I finally decided to just write a book about it. No matter what career you're in, whether it be a doctor, a detective, an engineer, a teacher, a cook, (you name it), you NEED art I want to help other people take a peek at life through the artist's eye so they can experience the invaluable benefits of it by incorporating a form of art in their lives
