ART is Poetry "Release" is a call to release negative mindsets. I have to release a lot of my own hangups, my own self-hatred, my own lack of confidence in myself, my desire to pursue LIFE These poems are my realizations: The old me was accepting less than I deserved, even from myself. To change this I had to release not only my issues and problems but a lot of it was my silence.I had to release from being quiet from my inner thoughts, my gut, my intuition, the facts. Along with my own flaws, the inability to let people go I had to release loving the unlovable to save myself, to reclaim my energy. This process is never done, these poems are examples and thoughts of all the deceptions in love, an awareness you have to possess to navigate this is the trial and error of love. This would be some examples that continuing to love in this capacity cannot continue. We can base a lot of how we communicate both with ourselves and the outside world is based on the culture. This individual journey is overwhelmingly controlled by everyone but you so remember to release believing the culture of the media. The media will tell you blatantly you are not enough and inadequate in every conceivable way. We have to spend the majority of our lives unlearning the false lessons and ideas we even think of ourselves. When we do we grow, when we do we expand, we meet people, we discover our interests, we become closer to our "Self"
