Arrivals and Departures: An Etheric Tribute to Block Island

By C. Jennings Penders

A haunting collection of seven character- and setting-linked stories set on one of the most spectacular and pristine places in North America: Block Island. Rhode Island. A story of how old lives cross new lives, sometimes taking the form of reincarnated spirits, but not the horror kind. Within these entertaining tales are weird apparitions, haunted lighthouses, disembodied voices, and ominous threats in the night. But Pender's ghosts are not evil, they are the good kind: where long dead promises are fulfilled, crippling doubts and failings are redeemed, and lonely people find spiritual fulfillment and love. Magic permeates in C. Jennings Penders' Block Island-based stories. By the author of TAKING OFF A COAT: RUMINATIONS ON THE INFINATE SOUL, and a collection of stories RANDOM ACTS: STORIES OF REDEMPTION.
