These books, Volumes I, II, III and IV of "Around the World in Forty Years," are a chronicle of 40 years (1970-2010) of traveling to 53 countries and making 40 trips to Mexico. They are filled with the history, personal experiences and tidbits of each country, including more than 250 color photos, followed by easy-to-prepare recipes for a five-course meal inspired by the region. In Volume IV, "Fabulous Final Five Years," from 2005 to 2010, we traveled to Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and the Mexican States of Chiapas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Estado de Mexico, Michoacan, Nayarit, Nuevo Leon, Oaxaca, Puebla, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala and Vera Cruz. There is also a section called "On the Trail of the Grand Masters," about my passion for collecting Mexican folk art from the source.
