Absolutly hilarious from start to finish!!

I have read this book at least 10x! And everytime it cracks me up. I recommend it to every FA I meet. I can so relate! Whenever I am having a rough day and forget why I chose this career to begin with, I read it again and it brightens my mood!

Hilarious look at flying the friendly (or not so friendly) skys

Rene Foss is a real life Flight Attendant and an even funnier author. I laughed out loud on the plane as I read her accounts of the safety demonstration and picking up trash. It is just plain fun and pure entertainment. If you have ever sat in an airplane seat, this will tickle your funny bone

Hilarious, honest and true

Rene Foss perfectly captures the flight attendant lifestyle and the unique subculture it breeds, rich with irony, nuance and wit. If you've ever considered an airline career, read Rene Foss for her unique take and her real deal on what life's like at 30,000 feet. Funny, warm and very human. She's also written and performs a one -woman live show, AROUND THE WORLD IN A BAD MOOD.

Around thw world in a bad mood confessions of a flight atten

This one was a "couldn't put down book. I took it to school and passed it on to some friends. I am not really a reading type of person, A matter of fact I was sick one day and I was watching today and they were interviewing Rene Foss. I had never heard of her before, and just thought to myself who in the world would want to be an author. but this book totally changed my way of thinking and made me want to read more books. The thing was books are so boring and rene made that turn around. she made the book so interesting i just need to find more books by her.

I love this book

As a fellow Flight Attendant I found reason to love this book. If you are considering purchasing this book, let me enlighten you as to what you will not find in this book: if you are looking for "dirt" or "gossip" about other airlines (our employers insure that we know nothing about other airlines in the event that they have better contracts or benefits. Just like you, we only know what we read in the Money section of USA Today); Ms. Foss does not disclose what airline she works for (after all, she still has to work); insider travel deals or specials (9 out of 10 times flight crews have no idea what promotions are being offered by their employers - we fly space available when not working). What you will find is a Flight Attendant with a sense of humor and a realistic outlook on this job. It's a great read if you want to be entertained, and it's a must-read if you are considering a job as a Flight Attendant!
