An alphabet-styled narrative, which uses alliteration throughout the story, is meant to be fun for readers, while also serving as a subtle mnemonic device. In writing Around the World from A to Z, I chose various ethnic groups and countries from as many world regions as possible, along with unique features of those places and people. The specific layout would be flexible to accommodate standard book formats, including the possibility of boosting the book's overall effectiveness by highlighting the story's featured countries on world maps as part of the front matter and tailpiece, enabling readers to use the maps for handy reference.
