This book is entitled ARMAGEDDON, is a theological and critical response to none other than Dr. Bart Ehrman. Professor Ehrman questions whether or not the Jesus as presented in the book of Revelation is the same Jesus that is presented in the Gospel accounts. He concludes that these are two separate versions of Jesus. Therefore, the book of Revelation does not represent the Jesus of the Gospels. The God of Revelation is a mean, wrathful, vindictive, and blood thirsty God. This Jesus in Revelation is not at all merciful, forgiving, and peaceful. There are serious claims, and this book is a response to these pejorative claims.
In this book, the author will explain that Jesus is not just a one-dimensional being. The author will explain the fullness of what Jesus spoke of in the Gospels that will acquit Him of these pejorative charges. This book will defend the integrity and character of the Lord Jesus Christ and present the full picture of His nature and character. The prophetic passages and parables that Jesus spoke of will find their ultimate fulfillment in the book of Revelation. Rather than seeing the book of Revelation as a book that should not have been included in the New Testament, the author argues that Revelation is the final capstone and fulfillment of everything Jesus said about Hell and fire in the Final Judgment. The righteous have nothing to fear The wealth of the wicked in the Babylon of Revelation is stored up for the righteous. Our God will be vindicated and acquitted of these criminal charges that indict His character of love, mercy, and forgiveness. Professor Ehrman, an adversary of the truth, will be knocked off his ivory tower and proven wrong about his claims and conclusions about Jesus.
