Battle-worn and battle-tested, Lt. Jordan Cole seethes with anger toward Lt. Commander Michael Edland, the man he holds responsible for the deaths of many of his men. Now thousands more lives are at stake as the German navy has unleashed a new menace on the high seas.
Family loyalty aside, Steve has written another great book. True, these three books are definitely written for men to enjoy, but I actually found myself becoming involved with Cole and Hardy and the secondary figures. War is not a favorite topic of mine, but these three books are well worth the read and should be read in chronological order although read separatly they stand alone very well. Job well done Steve!! What's next? How about the stories that Aunt Peggy has about the family???
New twist to a famous WWII battle

Just finished my first Steve Wilson novel "Armada". If you love WWII novels, especially naval stories, this is a great read. He did his research and it shows. The story is based on the prelude to the Normandy invasion in June 1944. I especially enjoyed the chapters on the British Mosquito fighter/ bombers exploits as "Pathfinders" for night bombing raids. All the action scenes in this book make you feel like you are there. The only parts I skimmed over were a couple of love stories, which didn't really add anything to the book. I liked this book enough to order his other two novels.
