Not what I was thinking...

As the title suggests, my hope was Arkansas history in story format that would bring the story of Arkansas alive for my student. However, she is bored. We are very disappointed. I might use it as a time-line of sorts for finding biographies and period related novels. Now the section of Arkansas government looks promising but I probably could get that information from the state secretary site.

A Comprehensive Overview of Arkansas

A great dive into Arkansas's history, from pre-historic times to the modern era. While there are some major stylistic clashes between certain authors (Arnold), the vast majority of the text is accessible and engaging. A lot of interesting tidbits that anyone with any interest in the Natural State will enjoy.
