What a disappointment

I have read several of this author short stories in various anthologies so I was looking forward to reading a collection of his short stories. I was very disappointed in the quality of the writing and the plot development. Some of the stories just seem to end with no closure whatsoever. I actually couldn't finish this book which is extraordinarily rare for me. Just didn't like it.
