quite obviously perhaps the greatest literary work of 1983

the past approximately one hour was perhaps the most exciting of my life because it was within this span of time that i read ARAPAHO REVENGE by George G. Gilman. The cover of the book announces the series of which this great book is a part to be "The most violent westerns in print", but what it should read is this: "The greatest book in all the land". It is about a man called Edge, and his dealings with a beautiful young Arapaho squaw named either Nalin or Naline, depending on which part of the book is referenced, whom he does not ever copulate with, but whom he does destroy in the end of the fantastic novel. The fantastic novel is absolutely filled with encapsulating, descriptive, and harrowing passages such as these: "Then night came and, as always, the troubled mind was more vulnerable to further attack in the encapsulating darkness when the alone are never more lonely..." And: "The ferryman came close to losing the temper he was suppressing only by tensing every muscle in his body. And this showed in the robot-like stiffness of the way he swung around and was heard in the harshness of his tone..." But for more, you'll have to read it for yourself...
