A tale of horror and arachnids, told by a narrator describing a time when a young woman ventures to a sinister town known as Necramere to join a university course there. However, something rather quite sinister seems to be going on in this town, and there is something off about the residents. After an encounter with a mysterious woman known only as "The Red Woman", she continues to experience very strange goings on, and eventually stumbles across an Eldritch artefact, a book titled: Arachnica. This Novella also contains the Chilling shorts: The Pale Experiment and The Blind Basilisk.
