An important subject

This is a well-told and important story obviously written by someone who knows his subject all too well. The whole subject of immigrants, legal and otherwise, is such a major issue that we all owe it to ourselves to be familiar with the immigrant experience. This novel avoids preaching or becoming a text and instead let's us live Aracelli's story along with her.
