Applied Management for Job Satisfaction

This book explains job satisfaction from the administration's point of view. It generally refers to some affective or emotional reply to a number of factors, or aspects, of the work situation of an employee. It has been described as an emotional reaction that is positive and is the consequence of and an evaluation of judgment of the employee's job. A number of factors of an employee's job are associated with job satisfaction, and consequently, it is made up of a set of components. Based on this concept of components, an employee may be dissatisfied with a particular part of his or her job, but completely satisfied with another different part. A person may be satisfied with the salary and also with colleagues; however, the same person may be dissatisfied with his or her employer, the physical location of the workplace, among other factors. A person who is dissatisfied with his or her existing job thinks negatively towards it. At the same time, a person who is satisfied with his or her existing job has thought positively towards it. Therefore, it is important for the administration to achieve job satisfaction.
