The author was ordained in March 1985 and later graduated with Bachelor in theology in 1987 from Pan Africa Christian University. He served as General Secretary of the Apostolic faith church for 9 years and pioneered ministry in Nairobi city, consisting of 30 strong branches. Bishop Gatimu is the Senior Pastor of the main branch in Bahati Nairobi, with over 3500 members ( four services every Sunday). He has been a very effective General overseer of Apostolic Faith church Kenya from 2010 upto today..currently starting a 10,000 seater church in Kangundo Road ( Umoja) Nairobi on a very prime place..which the church is pursuing to clear payment within 3 years. He is happily married to Rosemary Gatimu, and blessed with a son, Samuel Ndung'u. Bishop Gatimu is endowed with Apostolic calling and global impact having planted more than 44 churches. He has raised and mentored many bishops, evangelists, pastors, and established people in their talents, blessings, and giftings.
