A revolution in evolution.

You probably know what Darwin had for breakfast. But what do you know about the contribution of Thomas Henry Huxley? What do we know of the man and not just his work? The book contains several photos and a portrait of Huxley. We also got a picture of the Beagle and Darwin. History changes; so it is best to read this book as the time it was written.

Darwin epic

Although out of date and superceded by a considerable number of later scholarly works, this account of Darwin and Huxley and the generation of the Origin is still interesting, and profitably read, although some of the views (e.g. the account of the Huxley/Wilberforce debate) have undergone severe revisions.
