This book does not say that we are descendent of the chimp, but rather that we belong to the same family. The theory of natural evolution is never mentioned. In any case, this book is really fantastic.

This is a lovely book, both charming and beautiful. Vicky White's illustrations are breathtaking. Martin Jenkins words are poetry to be appreciated by children and adults. Ape is gorgeous and touching.
