Think about what it's like to share your apartment with dozens of people from around the world. Exciting? Eh. Fun? Maybe at times. Would there be a story to tell? Definitely. Years ago, after my lease expired at my Upper East Studio, I found myself living with a friend and co-worker in his Greenwich Village apartment in Manhattan. Over the course of a year and a half, people from all over the world kept us company as we rented out the spare bedroom of the apartment, while I simultaneously worked to 'find myself' as an actor and in real estate in the city. Despite all the commotion, this is a tale of loneliness and exhaustion, but also one of pride and development. Under the constant barrage of disorder from my roommate who would pop into the apartment at any time, the misadventures were memorable.
