ANZAC Nights at the TRANZAC Club

A pediatric nurse's life changes when he trains as a forensic nurse and joins an army unit excavating mass graves for the U.N. There, Sgt. Greta Sorenson mentors him (in more than forensics) for four years, after which he returns to nursing. Digger, an Australian, takes him to ANZAC Night at the TRANZAC Club, where he meets the Maori Maiden. Their love/hate relationship will take them to New Zealand and back. She seeks a macho, rugby-playing man with whom she can fight (literally), while he's a dancing fool, looking for a girlfriend with whom he can snuggle and smooch. If their difference don't pose a large enough hurdle, he's been told that if he hurts her, Little Big Brother will pummel him to death and feed him to the dogs. Will our hero and his Maori Maiden ever be a couple? Given their differences, can their relationship survive? Take a seat at the bar, order a couple of tinnies, light up a fag, have a smoko, dance the Haka while singing Waltzing Matilda, and take a peek through the windows of the TRANZAC Club of days gone by.
