Absolutely amazing book!

Riemann describes the four basic forms of fear as expressed in the schizophrenic, depressive, compulsive, and hysterical personalities clearly and effectively. The book is packed with case studies from his practice and plentiful examples that illustrate and clarify his model. It is a real eye-opener, interesting to the layman, psychology student, and mental health professional alike. A friend and I read it together, it was so compelling. We found ourselves and others we knew very accurately depicted. We were shocked to see my friend so perfectly described in the hysterical personality!! I have recommended this book to many German-speaking friends and have always wished there were an English translation (I once even played with the idea of translating it myself). I am sorry to see that it is no longer in print and hope this changes. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that it will someday be translated.
