Antiplatelet effect of some polyphenols

Many extracts of the plant or active ingredients are still successfully used in therapeutic for well-defined indications, although there is limited research on their mechanism of action. This is the case of some polyphenols such as flavonoids and coumarins. For this reason, in order to contribute to elucidate the effects attributed to certain flavonoids, and other related molecules, this work was undertaken, mainly focused on the justification of a possible modulating effect of platelet aggregation.
