Antioch Speedway in Morganton, NC began its life as Dragstrip in 1957. It was turned into a half mile clay oval by 1962. Outlaw dirt track racing filled the foothills until 1972. The track as a lost speedway until it reopened in 1988. Names like Earnhardt, Smith, Clontz, Mooney, Duval & others went to victory land. This book tries to tell the history from 1957 to 2018.
