This is one of those annoying 50,000-pound budget films that have that slow, pink piano noise in the background. It makes you want to find the turbo button or the fast-forward button. Your best bet is to turn off the sound altogether and rely on the subtitles.
An Oxford student, Ann Carter, discovers a transport system using a wormhole. It evaluates perfectly with everything tried, including Ann. However, looking back on it, maybe not so perfect; on top of that, she must deal with alienation of affection, the possibility that her co-workers are pilfering her patents, and she has lost her soul in the process.
This is a fairly decent story that uses the sassy aspect to be a springboard for the existence of a soul, and in the meantime, plays out like a soap opera.
Be sure to listen to the voice-over commentary for details of what they are trying to accomplish with their movie.
