The recent study 'Controlling Tropical Plant Diseases: Current Research and Innovations' asks the question, "How can we use beneficial microorganisms to control tropical plant diseases?" These microbes display multifaceted mechanisms with which to battle plant pathogens, and are used in agricultural practices to control plant disease. That is what antagonistic microorganisms are about.
