There once was a big Lasius Niger ant nest deep in the English countryside, in this ant nest newly hatched queen ants and male ants were stretching their wings, waiting for the signal to fly away from the parent nest. One of the young ant queens was called Queen Lasius, she had spent her whole life in the big nest being looked after by her parent queen's worker ants, and she was very excited about flying off on an adventure to find a good place to build a new colony. This is the story of her adventures.
