Answers Inside Out

Answers Inside Out is the story of finding out, aged 51, that the author is on the autistic spectrum. It follows on from her first book, Living Diagnosis in the journey of exploring just how our heads process things and how we fit in or not with Society. The book looks at and describes how the world is experienced through the eyes of this particular adult female and how this might be different, not only from the currently normal, typical ideas and views of Aspergers but also from the rest of Society in general. It also explores how and why a person might want to find out about being on the autistic spectrum and what difference or not that it might make.

Please Note: That both Living Diagnosis and Answers Inside Out were written when the term Aspergers was still used. I will leave the books as they are to fit in and work with the history of my story. However, it is now known by the term Autistic Spectrum. I do however refuse to use the extra word "disorder" as that is a massive step backwards and not one that I am prepared to take.
