This play is centred around the homestead of a rich and renowned chief and depicts the evils of a miscalculated marriage. While on his death bed, the chief decides to reveal a secret that he had kept from his wife about a young girl that he got from a past relationship. Baranda's stepmother wants to keep the chief's wealth by seducing Baranda to marry her brother. This turns into a bogus marriage because it is based on material wealth, manipulation and not love. The play is ideal for school competitions and other artists on stage, and/or for radio and television.
