Maiden and the Lawman

Back cover: Anora King hadn't said she was married when she moved to a new town but her new neighors leapt to that conclusion. For a woman struggling to raise money for her brothers operation the deciet has its advantages, until the new marshal comes to town. Jesse Quantrill was shocked to find himself lusting after a married woman, but Anora didn't act married and her mixture of innocence and feisty determination was irresistible. If the two fell in love it would be the town's biggest scandal, but no matter how hard they tried to stay apart lawbreakers, riots and ruckus's drove them into each others arms. A great read, it is hard to get into at the beginning but once your a couple chapters in you can't stop reading you just have to know how it will turn out.
