A great help to AP Gov teachers

I use this book as readings for my AP US Government and Politics class to generate discussions and questions on topics we are studying. The book covers nearly all the topics on the AP exam and has a group of up-to-date articles by well-known authors and/or from well-known publications. It's been a tremendous help, and my students say they understand more about government because we use this book. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in hearing what authors of differing viewpoints think about topics like the media in politics, foreign policy, economic policy, civil rights, government bureaucracy, the role of president, congressperson, etc. There's an updated version of this book published each school year, and I have collected these from several years. That way, students can see how views change over time as well. All around, it's a very useful purchase, and I will buy this book again next year when the '07-'08 version comes out.
