"Annotationes Cosmologicae" est opus fundamentale a Petro Hoenen conscriptum, quod profundas investigationes de philosophia naturae et structura universi exhibet. Hoc volumen, e traditione scholastica ortum, principia metaphysica cum inventis scientiae physicae illius temporis sapienter coniungit.

In his paginis, auctor quaestiones perennes de natura materiae, essentia spatii et temporis, ac de legibus physicis quae mundum regunt, diligenter examinat. Hoenen, methodo synthetica usus, doctrinam Aristotelico-Thomisticam adhibet ad solvendas difficultates quas cosmologia scientifica proponit. Praecipue attendit ad relationem inter philosophiam primam et scientias experimentales, quaerens unitatem veritatis inter rationem et observationem.

Hoc opus non solum ad historiam philosophiae spectat, sed manet fons pretiosus pro omnibus qui naturam mundi physici sub lumine principiorum certorum intellegere cupiunt.
