Fifteen-year-old homeless orphan Annie Greenlee has a beautiful soprano voice and longs to be a professional singer on the stage, but life on the streets is hard in Victorian London and she has to take care of her younger sibling, Lizzie. Then Annie gets the chance to fulfill her dream, but there is no room for Lizzie. Annie must choose between her dream and her duty to her sister, but will she make the right choice and what will it cost her.
