Annie Get Your Gun: IDPA shooting, military, love story

In the world of competitive pistol shooting, Annie Becker is at the top in the male dominated field. She grew up being told that women are not as good as men at shooting. Despite that, Annie has one goal in mind - to win the International Defensive Pistol Association top prize. That would prove women are destined for more than sex and sandwiches. Annie's father hires the best coach for her when she's eight years old, although he believes she will never make it in this sport. No one is more dedicated than Annie and no one and nothing will distract her.

Marine Nick Hodge returned from a military tour overseas recently and is looking for a way to connect with society. The only place he feels comfortable is at a shooting range. When a coach approaches to ask him to compete, he figures, what the heck? What he doesn't expect is a female teammate who'd rather put the bullets in him than down range.

Nick is inspired by Annie's talent and drive. However, Annie seems blind to the coach's bullying. He makes it his mission to prove to Annie that not all men treat women like second-class citizens.

Annie's pretty sure Nick wants to get her off the team. He's good looking and he shoots straight, but she wants it all and he's a distraction she can't afford.

Wanting more for them both, Nick devises a plan to make Annie see there's more to shooting than hitting the target. Sometimes love hits the bullseye.
