Too many Bible quotes!

The writing wasn't bad but for some reason, the main characters spend way too much time quoting the Bible and other literary classics at each other. I am sure that is not the way pirates spoke. Seems more fitting for seminary students or English majors. You can tell the writer was a high school English teacher.
