I recently read Anna's Two Wars and although I generally don't care for books of this genre, Ms. Paris's characters and storyline truly held my interest throughout. I felt as if I were actually living this story, and at the end I wanted MORE! I recently purchased Ms. Paris's latest book, One Man's Revenge, and once again, she has me hooked from the first chapter! I hope Ms. Paris continues on with her novels.

Anna's two wars rings true! The story is told with clarity and sense of reality that is missing from many similar "war stories". The characters are interesting and true-to-life. Highly recommended.

"Anna's Two Wars" by Mimi Paris, is a fast paced thriller, revealing a facet of te Holocaust about which little has been written. While it is a love story, it also reveals the side of hate and compassion that tend to exist in any conflict. Although most stories of this type have a beginning and an end, the ending is one that hints a sequel. The hate seeks revenge but will love and compassion overcome the hate? The theme is handled well by the author, with terse dialogue and description. The main characters are well drawn and the conflict well defined. The author deals with the universal problems that, in today's world, still seem to have no true solutions.
Great writing!

Mimi Paris's new novel, Anna's Two Wars, is a riveting story that is difficult to put down. The reader is breathlessly carried along as a brave group of concentration camp escapees and resistance fighters take a heroic stand against the evils of Hitler's Third Reich. Filled with spine-tingling intrigue, scintillating dialogue, and fast-paced action, this true-to-life account of victims turned heroes is a must read!
A great read!

Anna's Two Wars is an excellent blend of history and intrigue. The reader's interest is held from the first word to the last. Some characters are larger than life, while others play supporting roles, but the pace never diminishes. This book is not just another compelling book, but it opens the reader's eyes to a behind the scenes view of the Nazi death camps, the underground fighters, and the interaction between characters that's bound to take place in such life and death circumstances. Mimi Paris's style is bold, at times sexy, and she has done her research well. I would recommend this book to men or women as a great read.
