The world of Gard was created by sixteen deities, two of them being Dar'Angal and Dar'Zengal. Dar'Zengal was the only one, however, to see visions of the world falling into chaos. Driven to madness by these visions, Dar'Zengal decides to betray and forsake the rest of the gods, mocking their creations by attempting to outdo them at every turn. As Dar'Angal created the Light Elves, Dar'Zengal created the Dark Elves. Dar'Angal created the humans to live together with the Light Elves to create an environment of constant harmony and peace. The humans ended up calling their homeland Ludinia. Now the destiny of the world lies in the hands of the human king Kraingol, to drive out Dar'Zengal and free the world from all evil and oppression. Kraingol must face humanity's most common flaws: ambition and corruption, to banish evil and keep up good relations with the Elves of Light.
