Animals Are Everywhere
Animals Are Everywhere is one of Erica Irons-Sweigart's many collaborative works between a special education teacher and students with autism. This story is about teaching the numbers ten through twenty as well as prepositions. Each page is a beautiful artistic representation starting with ten creatures in the trees and ending at the number twenty. The artwork and the creative simplicity of storytelling paired with easily recognized animals and popular prepositions or prepositional phrases together make the story highly interesting and relevant to any elementary classroom as a teaching tool. Hopefully readers and teachers will take away the joy of the artistic paintings along with emphasis on the multitude of early learning skills and recognize the benefit not only in the school setting as a teaching tool, but also on any child's list of favorite books to read. The most important factor is that Exceptional Experiences LLC is the driving force behind the ability to provide gainful employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
About the Author
Exceptional Experiences LLC is a South Carolina Christian-based special education service provider recently qualified through the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs to provide Employment Services. Ms. Erica is the owner, operator, and lead teacher and job coach as an autism specialist, as well as a transition specialist. She continues to develop the business to encompass all services needed by these individuals God has placed in her path.
Joey Ferrucci, diagnosed with autism at an early age, is a talented artist and author who is interested in developing a career with his talents, thus leading to the micro-enterprise, "Special Art & Books," in which Joey and other talented authors and artists will collaboratively develop educational materials across the board.
