This started as a blog on short children's animal related short stories. However with time it became less and less fantasy but more real-life stories of tragedies and character-building to face challenges of living in the wild and to survive terrible adversity. However all characters are animals and response very akin to human thinking and reactions. Many human issues are debated such as loneliness on losing a mate, bullying in groups, social outcast struggles and a lifetime overcoming physical handicaps all cast into animal charactors. About 90 stories in all in volume one, each within a couple of pages. Many have factual1 introduction on the traits of the animal specie involved and how their behavior often time parallel humans. The 2nd Edition have numerous typo corrections and improved illustrations. It is slightly longer with two additional stories.
