Sweet Animal Based Deck with Positivity

This is a traditional RWS based Tarot deck that will be easy to read if you know RWS system, but also easy to pick up for a novice because of the card descriptions. This is what I call a “positivity deck.” It had been specifically created to give a reading that is calming and reassuring. A few of the major arcana cards have had their names changed (ex: “Death” is “Change” in this deck). It doesn’t change the meaning, but it softens the concepts, and the imagery is softened by being about animals. With the card meanings actually printed on the cards, it gives this deck cross-over potential to appeal to oracle deck users. It also has a square shape and heavier card stock that will feel familiar for Oracle deck users. I would not say this is the best deck to learn with because the imagery is so far from RWS and there are few additional symbols, so there isn’t much here that would help you learn other RWS based decks. It is a good deck for learning the structure and basic meanings. It’s a sweet addition to a collection, and either in its own or in multiple deck spreads is a compelling and comforting way to approach Tarot.
