A playful fennec fox cub with huge ears and a charming camel calf with long eyelashes are just two of the adorable babies found in Animal Babies in Deserts. The child-friendly format uses sounds and clues to involve the youngest readers. This book is the perfect introduction to the animals that live in the driest places.
This interesting little kids' book is a series of eleven two-page spreads each of which has some text and a picture. The first one asks "Who is my mommy?" While the second one answers the question. The final spread being a self-contained one. The pictures are very nice, able to capture the little one's attention. The text goes along very well - funny and able to maintain the little one's attention. My five-year-old liked this book, and I liked reading it to her. We both recommend this study and fun boardbook.
Babies LOVE this!

We adults may not understand why, but this was my daughter's favorite book from 6 months to a year and a half. I once read it a dozen times in rapid succession. Now, it's a big hit with my son as well. The great closeup pics of the animal babies gets big grins, giggles and big happy shrieks from both of them. I tried several books in this series, and this was the hands down favorite. Babies LOVE this book!!
