A bomb blast in the city of Malacca (Malaysia) in the late '80s prompts the two police officers assigned to the case, Sabari Veeran and Shakri Yusof, to undertake the investigation post-haste, and they intend to leave no stones unturned. And so, they enlist the services of Special Branch.

But there is another force at work, seemingly beset on impeding the efforts of these officers - one that is ancient and filled with malice. And it is apparent that it has an agenda of its own.

The veil between reality and fantasy is examined ceaselessly, with the Malaysian political arena brought to the fore - analysed and bemused. Ultimately, the crucial question remains - will the villains face justice?
