"Angels without a Mission" provides a framework that pictures the myriads of problems in a Nigerian society which is replete with moral uncertainties amongst teeming young population in higher institutions of learning and the loss of academic excellence cum social and economic pursuits.
Would Hardman, Otana, be the devil's paternoster than serve the purpose of the angelic, warring against evil? Why must he choose to be, determined and willingly, the opposite? Should not evil ways have an end, as salvation is always at the doorstep for the penitent, the contrite? When next Hardman becomes the God-choice, would he not choose to fight those he had fought for before?
It is however God's plan that the battles be left to Him that knows the end from the beginning. "Angels without a mission" is a misplaced priority, a misguided missal, a misspell destiny, corrected. Otana should be but a pencil in the hands of God.
