Her translucent wings melted into the background of the brick building. She was seemingly just a woman leaned up against the building taking a smoke break. Her torn jeans, unbuttoned flannel shirt with a white tank, and army green fashion combat boots assured any passerby she was a force to be reckoned with. But if they were to take a closer look another more subtle side could be seen. Despite being middle aged, her creamy complexion was practically wrinkle free. Her blue eyes pierced your soul. She knew every thought and feeling you were having. She reveled in turning you on while at the same time filling your heart with hope and peace. Her name is Angel but the sexuality seeping from her pores hinted she is not as innocent as her name sounds. There is more to this woman....so much more.

"Maybe it was a mistake to track her down", thought Maggy. Maggy wasn't a mousy woman at all. Some would say she was a force as well. But not like this. Not a force defying nature and relishing in every second of it. Maggy looked more run of the mill. Her nutmeg hair was almost always pulled into a loose bun at the base of her delicate neck. Her trendy glasses framed skeptical almond shaped brown eyes that bore into a person's brain rather than their soul. Hiding under a facade of average there was a beautiful face and incredible mind.

Slightly shaking she reached out to grab Angel's hand in a fervent introduction. Electricity flooded her body at the touch of this foreboding yet beautiful stranger. What in the hell is going on Maggy thought. Instantly, the telepathic words made her hit her knees. The voice said, "you mean what in Heaven is going on. I work for the right side of the universe. How about you?". Although Angel's perfectly plump burgundy stained lips never parted, Maggy knew the voice came from her.

Looking up from her crouched position Maggy simply nodded in agreement and bowed her head. An unrecognizable sensation crawled up Maggy's spine. As she stood her newly bestowed wings spread wide behind her. Walking together down the alley toward the lighted streets of a dark city, both knew their journey was about protecting justice and serving absolute vengeance.
