On the bank of Arapahoe Creek, along the foothills of snow-covered mountains in Colorado, two homeless men spy a bundle of material. Curiosity causes them to cross over the bridge to examine it. When it moves, they discover a young teenage girl clinging to a baby. In an attempt to help, the men plead for her to go to the nearby rescue mission; but in fear, she runs away and disappears.The young mother's boyfriend has a criminal record, been the leader of a street gang, and was responsible for her dilemma.
