Criminals who have escaped through the meshes of the law have been disappearing from the country. Azrael - The Angel of Death, is the name given by the people, to the entity they believe is responsible for these disappearances. People revere and worship this Azrael, but little do they know that these cases of disappearances, are in fact murders and what started as an act to clean-up the streets of the city, has now turned into a deed of pleasure for Azrael.A minor misstep by Azrael while eliminating the son of a powerful industrialist, leads to the anonymous detective, known only as 'The Sleuth', joining the investigation. This mysterious detective starts making immediate progress to strip the garb of anonymity off of Azrael. The Sleuth's relentless pursuit of Azrael now makes him a target for Azrael. The mind-games begin, with both, The Sleuth and Azrael, trying to find out each other's identities, by setting traps and devising strategies to outsmart each other.
