When Periwinkle Manning goes to New Horizons Assisted Living Center to offer her condolences to one resident on the death of her roommate, she doesn't expect to see the ghost of the dead woman.

Peri gained the ability to see the ghosts of murder victims after a concussion. Mrs. Naomi was supposed to have died of natural causes. However, she informs Peri that she was murdered.
