Despite its high frequency and its significant impact on the cognitive functions and quality of life of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases, anemia has long been neglected and sometimes incorrectly treated. Screening people at risk and prescribing preventive and effective treatment will certainly change their prognosis.Through a literature review and personal experience, the objectives of this work are: - specify the characteristics of anemia in patients with IBD;- detail the factors associated with the occurrence of anemia and its persistence in patients with IBD.
