There is only a mystery of what a mother endures while pursuing the safety of her children. Madea derived from the name "mother dear" also known as (Gal) tells those among the descendants about love, rearing, and the impositions of intimidations that the Harris Family tolerates as their lives were entrusted by a society of disdain regarding the rights of humanity. This name does not personify the "Tyler Perry's" fictional character "Madea"; but this name is indicative of the relationship in most ethnic households meaning strength and support, honor and love. Madea taught her children to waste nothing but to offer kindness to their neighbors as one day that spirit of love would find itself back to them. As I listened to various narratives of my family's heritage, it became a legacy to me, a refreshing story, but a heartbreaking experience of one so dear to me, my grandmother Isabella Lee Harris who paved the way for all of her children to honor patience, kindness, and give a deaf ear to anger, and discord.
