Good read for kids, bad build.

My kids love this book so when their old one fell apart I wanted to replace it. The "new" one we got from this website is damaged. You can see where pages are torn and they tried to fix it so it wouldn't show. You can see where the binding is messed up and all of the edges have been damaged. Tried to change the battery (it was soaked with acid) replaced the batteries and it still doesn't work.
